We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. The enemy of the truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived, and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. And I think it allowed me to carry myself in such a way that I was approachable. We are always at a crossroads, moment by moment. We can choose to open the wound further, creating more suffering for ourselves and others, or we can choose to heal the wound. Practicing Peace in Times of War To be alive, to be able to see, to walk...it's all a miracle. I have adopted the technique of living life from miracle to miracle.
